Who are we?
Can’t Lose for Winning is a collection of true stories that happen to all of us. We attempt to relate our adventures in the best way possible. We want to keep our readers entertained with our sometimes embarrassing but mostly fun social lives. The blog began as a small e-mail group with the title more often than not “How was your weekend?” Then stories began being forwarded and the group began getting larger. And that’s where we are today.
The main contributors are in their 20’s. They live in 3 different places: Boston, Baltimore and San Diego.
JF is from Boston. He shares entires that are listed under the “City of Champions” category. They contain stories about him and his friends. He also happens to be a very passionate Boston sports fan.
Jamal resides in Baltimore. His narratives include time he spends in Baltimore, Washington and occasionally New York.
DJ “Kid” Hakus lives in San Diego. When he’s not spinning, he’s usually at a bar. His tales take place in Southern California.
The three of us met while attending the University of Maryland.
Remember that these stories come from all members and their extended friends. They’re all 100% true (there’s even more to some of them but we want to keep this tasteful).
We write the stories in the 1st person because it’s easier. So for any significant other who has come across this site and is perhaps worried about our behavior…it wasn’t us.
